If you're really into wire wrapped jewelry then I totally just a sweet new shop for you. Namaste Jewelry Designs plays with a mixed media of silversmithing. Most of the designs incorporate wire wrapping, forging, precious metal clay, and casting. The stones used are all natural rock, semi-precious, and precious gemstones. There are no simulated or dyed stones. the owner believes in the powerful properties of natural stones so each piece has an aesthetic and healing design in mind when it is created. If you are interested in the properties of the stones used in a piece simply send them an email and you'll be granted an explanation.
There's many pieces in the shop that I'm a fan of but one in particular really catches my eye. My Happy Place features a beautiful peach colored Freshwater Pearl wrapped with thick sterling wire and oxidized to bring out the luster of the pearl. Simple, modern, classic... happy.
It's also available in rose, purple, white and light grey. All you gotta do is specify at checkout which color you'd like. I adore this!

Of course I just had to rush off to Etsy and look for themed items and this is what I came up with!

One week from tomorrow our fabulous Vegan Little Black Boxes go on sale! I can't believe the time has already came. The Vegan Etsy team is graciously sponsoring the event and it's going to be really cool.
For those of you going um, Vegan? Hmmhmm? What's that? Let me explain! For you newbies Vegan doesn't automatically mean food. I've had email after email from businesses saying they can't contribute in January because they don't make food. Silly people! All Vegan means in the case of our special theme box is that nothing from the following list will be allowed in the box.
silk, honey, goat's milk, wool, leather, sugar (unless you know it is from a non-charcoal using process), beeswax, emu oil, Coral, Bone, Leather, Pearls (genuine saltwater or freshwater - glass pearls are ok, of course), feathers, milk, butter, angora, mohair, wool, cashmere, shell, gelatin.
Such a list! A very important list though. Basically nothing made from animal products! Easy enough! There's so much more out there and lots of fun stuff that is coming through the door. I'm really looking forward to seeing what comes from this box. I love special months!

It's beautiful and I want it all! Just look at how amazing these look! Alchemic Muse draws upon the centuries old knowledge of traditional beauty regimes, natural remedies, and aromatherapy to create truly distinctive body care for a luscious spa experience at home.
The olive oil soap is handcrafted in small quantities using traditional cold process methods. We use the finest vegetable oils and butters, botanicals, minerals, pure essential oils, high quality fragrance oil blends, and proven extracts and infusions. The lush, creamy lather gently cleanses and nourishes leaving skin soft and silky.
Um, yum! Send me a bar or two of the Sparkling Berry and Paradox soaps. These are beautiful! I want to sniff through the screen but I'll have to settle for just placing an order. Everyone knows my weakness for a licorice scented soap. I have no will power!
What do you have your eye on?

At Chocolaterra they've made it their mission to only use chocolate that is produced by companies with equitable labor and sustainable farming practices. All of the chocolate used in the production of our truffles is certified organic and roughly 50% of the chocolate we purchase is fair trade certified. Fair trade is the way to go!

I'm doing it again! Man, this is fun!
Show me your shop with items valued at $15 dollars including S/H. Simply comment here by posting a link to your shop and I'll check you out! I may even add stuff from your shop to my favorites for more exposure.
My readers have been emailing me thanking me for doing this because every once in awhile we have 15-20 bucks in our PayPal account and it's just burning a hole in our pocket. This is a great way to to show off.
I will pick my most favorite item by Wednesday a.m. and purchase it in order to do a review of your shop and the item. What a great way to get noticed and you don't even have to spend money doing it - I'll pay you!
While you're here check out my Project Wonderful ad spaces. You can place your banner on my blog for as low as .03 cents a day. No breaking the bank there!
Let's get going!
I was first introduced to Creasol last month when this amazing Indie participated in the December round of Little Black Boxes. Although we were full at the time I allowed them to join us and I'm so glad I did. Not only was I extremely thankful that they followed through with their promos but they also made me add lots of neat stuff from the shop to my favorites.
We're a big water drinking household. With that said we like to leave our glasses all over the place including on end tables and coffee tables destroying them. I'm always on the hunt for great coasters and I think I may have finally found some at Creasol.
I adore the mosaic tile colors that took many hours placing judging from the pictures. My favorite are these earth tone "Fire" coasters. They'd match my home perfectly and also save my tables!
Now I just need to save up!
This vintage Bakelite stone is set on a sterling silver cloud and titled Keep Your Sunny Side Up. I adore the quarkiness of it and can acknowledge that a lot of time and effort went into creating this great piece. Too cool!

Christmas was wonderful - I got everything I could hope for and spent time with my little brother Rob and his amazing girl Kristi. My father flew them in from Seattle and we took them to a hockey game. I boozed it up on Christmas Eve and Day but ironically spent my birthday and the biggest party day of the year completely sober. Go me!
My New Years Resolution is for the family and I to not eat out so much and also to not drink soda. Caffiene keeps me going during my long busy days and lately I have been really chugging and I think it's because I haven't been eating so well and loading up on foods that aren't so hot for me. Because things are so hectic it's often more easy to just tell my husband to run to the border - the Taco Bell border - to get the family dinner. Not anymore! I want to set a more healthy lifestyle example for my boys and actually plan on sticking to my resolution and hopefully my husband will help me stick with it!
I can't even explain on much rest I got on my break and also how thrilled I am to be back in the saddle again. I can't even sleep! I should have been in bed hours ago but I have butterflies in my stomach. The kiddies go back to school tomorrow and back to work I go. I figured I'd do my blogs tonight so I have the energy and the no sleep jitters.
Here's to a wonderful 2009 and new relationships I hope to form along the way!
